These pewter and brass candle holders are part of the Sylvia collection. It was named after my paternal grandmother Sylvia. She was one of the first women to graduate from Pratt Institute of Art in the 1930's. She was a prolific painter and lived a very avant guard lifestyle.
Very angular and geometric in nature, this pieces draws homage to the streets of New York.
